Hello, I am excited to be your child's Social Studies/Science teacher. This is my first year to teach at Smith STEM Academy and I couldn't be more excited about this year! My philosophy of teaching is that every child can learn, and I will provide my students with a well-rounded school experience. Building relationships with my students is my number one priority.

I graduated from UHV with my degree and have taught at Nazareth Academy for the last 9 years and before that I worked at Aloe Elementary. I have experience teaching Kindergarten, and 6th grade through 8th grade. I also was a 1st grade reading tutor.

I have been married for 28 years, have a daughter entering high school this school year. I also have two cats, and a dog, all very spoiled.

I know this will be the best year of teaching, I already love my Smith family!
