Welcome to Smith STEM 4th grade! My name is Melissa Moreno Rubio and I’ve been in VISD for 31 years! I’m so excited to have your child in my classroom this year! ​

I have lived in Victoria almost all my life and attended VISD schools. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, Felix for almost 10 years. I look forward to working with you and your child to provide the best education they deserve. ​

I graduated from the University of Houston-Victoria with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have 19 years experience teaching 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades.  I am also ESL certified and GT qualified.
