Welcome to Smith Stem 2nd Grade! 

My name is Brandice Fillmore, I am proud to be a Smith Stem Academy Eagle. I am from Victoria, Texas. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, and my Master of Education (M.Ed.) in curriculum and instruction-educational technology, as well as another Master’s in elementary education from the University of Houston- Victoria.  This will be my 9th year teaching which I taught Pre-K for those 8. This is my second year teaching 2nd grade - I am so excited!  

My educational philosophy is to support all students in being academically successful. I believe that as an educator I can encourage and motivate all students to achieve academic success. That is why it is my job as an educator to incorporate good instruction, classroom management, and the presence of various teaching styles in a classroom. We are going to ROCK 2nd grade!
