Signing into VISD issued laptops
If you need any assistance with any of your devices, please call the VISD Helpdesk at 361-788-2818. The helpdesk line is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
When you first turn on your VISD issued laptop you will be asked to sign in.
If you are having issues with your device turning on, please plug it in to a power outlet for at least an hour and try again.
In order to sign in to your laptop, you will need to first connect to a wireless network. If you received a hotspot with your VISD laptop, please flip this page over for instructions on how to connect to it.
Students can sign in with their VISD email address and password.
If you see another username on the screen when trying to sign in, click “other user” in the bottom left corner to enter your own information.
The email address and password default formats for a VISD student account are: Email = (First initial last initial student ID)@student.visd.net (Ex. aa123456@student.visd.net
Password = First initial last initial-last4socialV (Ex. aa1234V)
